Kell Brook
and Hector Saldivia are ready to battle it out in a final eliminator for a shot
at the IBF welterweight title. The successor awaits a showdown with the winner
of the clash between current champion Randall Bailey and his opponent Devon
Alexander. Brook needs a massive performance come Saturday after showing poor
conditioning in his last fight with Carson Jones. The fight pushed Brook to the
extreme, in which he had to overcome a broken nose to keep his unbeaten record
unblemished. Now Brook has seen to every detail in his training camp.
Introducing a nutritionist and strength and conditioner, which means he is in
serious shape this time round. Brook seems to have finally come to terms with
just what it takes to reach the very top. Saldivia is a very tough fighter
though, who throws big shots and keeps going forward. So Brook will have to
bring his A-game if he is to win. It’s going to be one hell of a fight.
