Broner Wins But Malignaggi Resilient!

Adrien Broner become the WBA welterweight champion after beating Paulie Malignaggi with a split-decision victory. Broner also became a world champion at a third different weight with his win in New York. With all the pre fight talk from Broner and the odds heavily stacked against Malignaggi many thought this fight would end in a stoppage win for Broner. However it was far from that prediction, Malignaggi showed plenty of grit and determination but in the end was outworked by ‘the problem’. The fight was scored 117-111 and 115-113 to Broner while the other judge scored it 115-113.
