Flintoff Is Set For Heavyweight Boxing Career!

Former England cricket captain Andrew Flintoff is ready to start a new career in sport as a boxer. Flintoff is to be granted a licence to compete as a professional heavyweight boxer and could debut as early as December. Flintoff has been working hard to get into shape; he’s lost more than two stone after 10 weeks of intensive training with Barry McGuigan. His current weight is reported to be under 16 stone, meaning he’s got a shade more work to do to drop into the optimum weight range. There have been a few eyebrows raised about Flintoff’s decision to come into boxing with many thinking it’s just a big PR stunt. Lets hope his decision to try boxing is based on his love for the sport and that he genuinely wants to achieve something within boxing.
