Carl Froch vs Yusaf Mack |
Carl Froch dismantled
Yusaf Mack within three rounds to retain his IBF super-middleweight title in
Nottingham. From the start Froch looked sharp and dangerous and had Mack down
in the first round from a left hook. The second round was more settled with
both fighters cautiously finding their range and in the third Mack felt the
power of the cobra with a venomous right followed by a left to each side of the
body which sent Mack to the canvas. Mack
tried his best to get back on his feet but Froch had completely punched the
wind out of him and the Philadelphian slumped back down to be counted out. It
was a punch perfect perform from Froch in which he simply took Yusaf Mack
apart. Next year looks to be a big year for the cobra with rematches against
Bute, Kessler and Ward on the cards.
