Broner a “Big Problem” for DeMarco!
Adrien “The
Problem” Broner put in a Mayweather style performance to defeat Antonio DeMarco
and win the WBC lightweight title. From the very start Broner took control and
his power and speed was simply too much for DeMarco. It was the eighth round
when Broner finished off his man with a right body shot and a left to the head.
DeMarco looked completely stunned and his corner threw in the towel. Broner who
has been dubbed by many as the new Mayweather was a different class and his record
now stands at 25-0 with 21 of his victories finishing inside the distance. A
fight with WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns could be on the cards next year
for Broner as long as Burns wins his title defence on the 15th December
against an opponent who is yet to be announced.
